Beer, Comics, Dead Xerox, 67%

Been spending the last few days in Phnom Penh getting some cold cash for the trip.
Last day zipped around on moto-taxis collecting street comics. For those of you who haven't had the privilege of experiencing Cambodian traffic, it's kind of like the 'pod-racing' scene in Star Wars: Phantom Menace.

Below: an everyday scene. (click for full glory)

Back in Siem Reap, packing and planning. Scanning and emailing some comics for translation, trying to plan some seminars. Bus to Bangkok on the 3rd.

Australia's October National Young Writers Festival is doing a 'Comics and Beer' feature. Maybe there's some room for collaboration here...

from athonk@ganja.com:

john,
the progress is great, we rent a copy machine!!! so we
can produce
comics as many as we want!! great ha!!

I'm hoping this machine can take the strain...

Finally, some homework. Read these articles, note the preponderance of "67%" and in two weeks we'll have a short quiz. Trust me.
